Stumble Upon Toolbar Me thinking, and then writing things down: October 2008

30 seconds after my last post... again.

I am completely ecstatic.
The Killers are coming to Seattle! Since you the reader probably do not ride in the car with my family you have no idea how obsessed we are with the album Sam's town. Whenever we even get close to a car we play the whole album begining to end. I don't really know why we like it so much but its going to be completely fabulous to see them in concert!

Well I am still alive and well. Not that anyone is really waiting on the edge of their seat for one of my slightly infrequent blog posts. And i have absolutely nothing to say right now. Apart from the fact that i have nothing to say. It seems that this has been a completely pointless post but none the less I shall post it. I'm thinking about getting a twitter but i think that my thoughts are generally more important then 140 characters and I really don't need anything more to constantly update with facebook and skype and all those fun ways to communicate.
School has been decent lately although I'm getting the jist that some of the teachers think I talk to much. Which is true. But i always try not to let my schooling get in the way of my education as someone famous said. I think it was mark twain. Maybe. Maybe not. I hope that someday my life will be interesting enough for my blog to be a bit more interesting, but for now I will just post things like this. Sigh. But truly what is the point of a blog if its not to ramble?

I have been told by almost innumerable people now that i look like i am wearing eye liner.
is this good?
is this bad?
my mind is filled with thoughts of if it is good to be a boy who is would make a pretty girl or a boy who would make a bad boy...
hm.....
my conclusion is that completely ignore that they say I look like I am wearing complete eye makeup, and be proud of my luscious lashes and dark eyes.
Of course its not the best thing when the first thing people say to me "are you wearing makeup?"
But in the long run.... well i don't know.
I'm not really a long run kind of person.

I absolutely must start tap dancing again.
but i find most of the lessons kind of condecending.
But i love tap dancing.
I sometimes find myself suddenly tap dancing the coreography from when i was in singing in the rain, and i remember that i have to start up.
I will and i must tap dance again.

Do you ever find the whole school concept weird?
Lets keep them in school all day pelting them with information
and then lets give them 2 or more hours more to do at home
for 5 days a week
and then give them four hours on the weekend...
so basically educate by stamping out every shred of creativity that they ever had?
sounds good.
well i guess i am learning
it just seems like there's a more efficient way.

30 seconds after my last post.

I am in love with this site galadarling.com
Makes me want to go to Paris!
do you ever think about how much of a beauty contest life is?
even if your a perfectly nice person and you dont mean to judge people,
It seams that almost all people do.
Including me. I guess its not all bad seeing as most all cultures do it.
its probably just a natural thing.
probably something about evolution
or something.

And I Am Back. Hopefully for long.

It has been a while since i have been on blogger, and i never really got started so i guess i cant say I'm back but I think i will now start blogging. This weekend i saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. Decent movie. Would have made a bad book though, which is to bad because it was a book. Hopefully people will forget it was a book. We now officially have a new era of teen movies, with Juno, and Nick and Norahs. Pretty good ones to. I think they can definitely compare to Molly Ringwald. The same night i saw Ghost In a Shell, which was just really really wierd. But cool.
Me blogging is kind of hopeless because my life really isnt that interesting. Oh well. Ill just keep on bloggin. Or not. Maybe I'll wright movie reviews.

Kids for Obama March or Small Children Saying Things They Don't Understand.

Today around greenlake in Seattle a large amount of children gathered to chant something that none of them understood. The children were completely adorable and covered obama signs. There were little kids in legging with Obama stickers and some very confused children with super hero costumes on. It was kind of adorable and slightly (though i dont like to admit it) heartwarming to see all the itty bittty blond haired ones and there enthusiastic parents marching around. It was also kind of depressing to see the little kids chanting Obama. If anyone doesnt think I'm an Obama fan then you are very, very, wrong but it was kind of wierd to see all these people just saying Obama because they were told to. Its true that the little kids that were so easily convinced, probably couldnt pick out ice cream flavors by themselves but i still thought it was slightly disturbing. Honestly its only weird in retrospect and really it was just incredibly adorable.
